With city-wide transportation being a complex interconnecting network of various sub-systems, it requires careful understanding of planning parameters as well as government targets for public and other non-motorised travel modes.

Very often, the provision and allocation of monetary resources is subject to priority.

Funding transport initiatives requires the development of clear processes to how money is secured (loans, bonds, public-private partnership, cost-sharing, taxes, etc) and at what cost (interest, payback schedule, concession, etc). Travel Demand and Traffic Forecasting involves developing a wider understanding of the factors that influence a particular system such as land use, population, employment, market forces, physical constraints and the costs of travel. From this understanding, a scientific basis can be formed through the development of analytic models to evaluate future travel demand and traffic generation at various horizon years in the future, supporting short to long term transport planning and decision-making.

At Transpo Group, we are experienced in developing travel demand forecasts through several tools, from spreadsheet-based models to complex four-stage modelling processes. We do it using softwares like CUBE, EMME/3, and VISUM as per project requirements.

Traffic Operational Analysis

Traffic Operations Analysis is the process of quantifying traffic operations at intersections and interchanges along the roads and highways network. Its purpose is to evaluate the operational performance of the transport network and enable the development of innovative solutions to enhance the overall network’s configuration and effectiveness.

Transpo Group uses the latest industry traffic tools like PTV, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCM to carry out the traffic analysis, evaluate the alternatives and recommend optimal solutions to address the Clients’ challenges.

Traffic Micro-Simulation

Traffic Micro-simulation allows for in-depth analysis of local areas, considering driver behaviour, vehicle characteristics, and transport interactions in finer time intervals than traditional models. We have a wealth of experience in successfully managing crowds in large facilities worldwide. We offer traffic micro-simulation services using industry-standard software like PTV VISSIM and AIMSUN, collaborating with government and private developers.

With a shift towards energy-efficient transport options, we actively assist governments and developers in integrating micro-mobility options into city and land development plans, including corridor-level planning and “first & last mile” provisions.

Crowd Management & People Movement Assessment

Crowd Management and Movement Assessment are essential steps to support the development of a thought-through Crowd Management Plan with the aim to establish an efficient, safe and secure environment for the guests, the staff and the performers.

Roadway Engineering Design & Temporary Traffic Management

Managing the demands of rapidly increasing urbanisation and environmental sensitivity requires an innovative approach when it comes to delivering road design. We specialise in road network conceptualization and design, promoting road safety and efficiency.

We also specialise in road geometry, alignments, vertical profiles and other aspects of road design, coordinating closely with the Road Safety Auditors to address safety concerns. We develop directional signs and gantries design, detailed roadside barrier plans, and public transportation routes and associated sections.

During construction activities, we extend our involvement to develop effective diversion plans, working closely with our clients and our eco-partners to support continuous traffic movement with minimal disruptions in compliance with the applicable regulations and safety standards.

Site-Wide Safety & Logistics Planning
