The Department of Municipality and Transport (DMT) plays an important role in managing, operating and maintaining a significant portfolio of assets across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Whilst the DMT leads the strategic and monitoring of the overall performance of the assets’ portfolio, 3 municipalities (Abu Dhabi Municipality, Al Ain Municipality, and Al Dafrah Municipalities) and the Integrated Transport Center (ITC) carry out the tactical and operational, maintenance and overall asset management tasks and responsibilities. Transpo was commissioned to support the DMT in improving and enhancing the Asset Management practices, procedures and application across the organization and across all affiliated Entities.
