Covering thousands of kms of road network in Iraq, RBD was looking to procure, install and configure more software/hardware to enhance the RAMS/GIS infrastructure. This is in addition to significant improvements in the design of the GIS and HDM4 databases and the integration between them. Transpo was commissioned to support the RBD with its objectives, providing a range of services revolving around the development of new Geodatabase, roadmap and manual for data collection and GIS entries, development of bespoke tools to support the GIS-HDM4 and, the configuration of the system for strategic analysis. integration The project also involved a significant knowledge transfer with extensive technical training schedule for a wider variety of Agency Engineers and System users.
