Bruce Haldors
CEO Middle East
Bruce is the Chief Executive Officer of Transpo Group with over 35 years of experience in transportation industry, overseeing and supporting the growth and development of the business across its footprint. He’s navigated the business in delivering unique transportation projects throughout the US Pacific Northwest, and continues to work closely with the President of the Middle East Business, providing corporate guidance to support the growth strategy across the region. With deep conviction for new technologies, Bruce championed the creation of an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Lab within Transpo, as well as a proprietary GIS-based connectivity planning software, ViaCity, setting Transpo apart from its competitors. Bruce continues to facilitate collaboration with research universities including the University of Washington, Arizona State University, and North Carolina State to develop specialized professional development programs for transportation-related education in the Middle East. He is presently serving on the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing as well as the Board of the University of Washington’s Technology Transfer program. Bruce’s experience runs from technology related projects to transportation planning applications and projects. His passion for people, technology, and innovation have assisted countless public agencies and private owners create and implement unique transportation solutions for the betterment of the communities they serve.
Rachad Nochahrli
President- Middle East
Rachad is the President of Transpo Group in the Middle East since January 2023. With over two decades of experience in Design Engineering Delivery, Corporate Operational Management and Clients Development, Rachad is leading the development and implementation of regional Business Strategy for Transpo. Using his natural leadership skills, his ability to establish a rapport with the team and his creative thought process, he works closely with the organisation’s executives and eco-partners to generate new strategies, accelerate processes, strengthen compliance, and devise custom and holistic solutions to address business areas, propelling the organisation successfully into the future. A Chartered Engineer who has graduated in Montreal, Canada with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University and a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from the École de Technologie Supérieure, Rachad is fully committed to drive the development of our corporate DNA fostering productivity, creativity and growth for our people within the organisation to achieve impactful results.

Darine is the Head of the People & Operations Unit at Transpo Group in the Middle East. With over two decades of experience in Business Administration Transformation and Human Resources Management, she plays a pivotal role in adopting a people-centric approach to continuously promote the right balance between the corporate requirements and the needs of our people. As the leader of Transpo People & Operations in the Middle East, she manages the day-to-day working of the business in line with corporate strategy, working closely with the functions heads and our people to ensure service excellence and clients’ satisfaction. She diligently manages all corporate aspects related to our employees, governance, quality management, and environmental and health systems, maintaining employee relations and rigorous supervision across our various corporate and project offices in the region.
Kurian P. Thomas
Function Head- Finance
Kurian is the Head of Finance at Transpo Group in the Middle East. With over two decades of experience in managing accounting and financial operations, he is a highly analytical and performance-driven professional. As the leader of Transpo Finance in the Middle East, he manages the financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and cost control, statutory audit, tax filing, working capital management, banking functions and accounts automation. Having a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B. Com.), Kurian’s diversified business experience across the Middle East and India spans a range of sectors, right from engineering to healthcare, hospitality and more.
Apostolos Kourentas
Director - Digital and Asset Management
Apostolos is the Director of Digital & Asset Management at Transpo Group in the Middle East. A Chartered IT Professional, he is equipped with 22 years of experience in Asset/Facility Management Engineering Consultancy & Systems, Location Intelligence Applications, Emerging Technologies, and Digital Transformation. His role entails defining business contexts, designing/ deploying, and managing various ICT/ERP projects, systems, and solutions, with a keen focus on Smart Asset Management. Apostolos drives key projects in the UAE and GCC and he has to his credit successful collaborations with government agencies, real estate developers, and private enterprises, offering strategic consultancy, advisory, and executive level implementation services.
Jose Figueiredo
Director of Technology & ITS Department
Jose is the Director of Technology & ITS Department in the Middle East region. With over 30+ years of experience, Jose has developed a wealth of experience in the Transportation sector, having been involved in major projects, such as the implementation of the London 2012 Olympics road network, EC3 Project in Dubai, Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Road network preparations, and numerous other high-profile projects across the world. Joe has remained at the forefront of project delivery throughout his career, working closely with Clients, Stakeholders and leading technical team to successfully achieve the projects’ goals in line with the Clients vision all the way through implementation. Jose’s ability to put together traditional ITS systems knowledge with emerging areas will help our Client and our projects to develop safer, more efficient, and sustainable transport solutions for the betterment of communities and cities
Richard Lewis
Director KSA & International- Transport Planning and Mobility
Richard plays an integral role as the Director of Transport Planning & Mobility in KSA and across the business’ international footprint. With over 20 years’ experience in transport planning and transport modelling, his key responsibilities include project management, demand and revenue forecasting, feasibility studies and business case development, accident modelling, environmental assessment and development planning. Richard is a Fellow Member and Vice Chair of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT, Dubai Branch), Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He has led numerous development projects, model development projects, scheme appraisal projects and development planning projects across the region.
Kashyap Shukla
Director UAE- Transport Planning and Mobility
Kashyap is the Director of Transportation and Mobility at Transpo Group in the Middle East. He is a Chartered Engineer with over seventeen years of experience in the Middle East, UK, Australia, and India markets, primarily in transportation projects. He plays a key role in our Middle East operations, overseeing the management and delivery of transportation projects in the UAE. During his career, Kashyap led a broad spectrum of projects in terms of nature, scale and complexity, including strategic advisory, feasibility studies and business case development, developments’ transport planning, multi-modal integrated transport studies, traffic operational studies, parking studies, Future Mobility studies and more. He endorses genuine collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and eco-partners to ensure successful delivery and clients’ satisfaction across both, public and private sectors. Kashyap’s core strength is to develop and deliver cohesive and innovative technical solutions, duly considering projects’ end-user requirements and client objectives for sustainability, commercial viability and regulatory compliance.
